HOW design is politics is a publication that seeks to address the role of design in politics throughout history in different cultural contexts, targeting the French political context of the 20th century for it’s first edition, in particular, May of 1968. It consists of two objects, a main one divided into three main sections, May of 1968, Grapus and an interview with Pierre Bernard as a closing, and a second independent object that looks at different artists who belonged or influenced the work of the Grapus collective. The layout is simple and coherent, so that the content is clear and easy to understand. The image is worked in monochrome, opting for the characteristic blue tone of the Grapus collective.
