Design as Knowledge is a fold-out object that on one side has the function of a poster while the other contains informative content about the manifesto on which the project is based, Research and Destroy by Daniel van der Velden. I used two of the main subjects covered by the manifesto, Design as Knowledge and Design as Factory Work, and tried to use a language inspired by Metahaven’s work by making use of the automatic features of certain programs used by designers nowadays to convey the idea that a designer shouldn’t just be someone who does a job or works for someone, but an individual who seeks to make knowledge out of design and solve problems.
